Essential Criteria for Nursing Home Staff Vacancies

Nurses must be registered or awaiting registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)

Experience is beneficial but not essential as a full-induction will be given.

Shift Patterns

Shift patterns for care assistants vary as follows:

  • 50am- 2pm
  • 50am – 6pm
  • 50am- 8pm

Night duty: 7.15pm to 8am

For registered nurses we have full-time, part-time and banking hours available.

Glen Caring is seeking to fill Care Assistant vacancies in the Northern region.  The posts include part-time, full-time and banking (casual) staff.  

We offer flexible rotas, so  these posts may suit those who need the flexibility that a 9 to 5 job doesn’t offer.  The care assistant posts are also open to those new to social care. Because we offer all the training you need, you don’t need previous experience to apply.

Full-Time Staff: Morning, lunch & tea run (7am-6pm: working a 3 and 4-day pattern on a fortnightly cycle)  

Part-Time Staff: Evening runs (7-11pm working a 3 & 4-day pattern on a fortnightly cycle)  

Week 1 – rostered to work Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday;  

Week 2 – rostered to work Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.  

Banking (Casual) Staff: As and when you are available
